Art by Golfo: Born in Nafpaktos Greece, Golfo Tsakumis moved to Vancouver Canada in 1970 to start a family with husband Bill and was involved in artistic endeavours early on while raising her five children. Always looking for the next challenge she decided to put her creativity onto canvas. Over the last twenty years Golfo has experimented with a variety of painting including acrylic , water colors and oil. She further honed her natural ability through studying and learning from several well known local artists. Her passion for her art lies in capturing life's moments through the essence of our humanity as well as captivating natural settings and landscapes brought to life through her imagination, direct contact and travels.
